I have a 4th gen I am putting back together. I have reattached the sub-frame but want to know (since I have never done this before), is there any particular order in which I should reattach things? It seems to me that it would be easier to attach things to the firewall before doing the suspension and then drop the motor in. However, having not done this before, I'm open to suggestions and advice.

Thanks

GM assembled the bodies and then mated the fully assembled front clip with suspension, engine, and transmission in place on the assembly line. I’ve seen videos posted here showing a how a guy does this with Camaro’s. It saves you from having to wrestle with an engine and trans alignment on to the mounts which are not fully visible when the front clip is attached to the car. It also limits the chances of messing up a freshly restored firewall.. Look up the video of this process.. See if it is something that can work for you.. You can also put it all together one piece at a time..
