I was trying to replace the heater hose fitting on the back of the intake on my truck and it broke off. It is a very soft metal and I can't get the rest of the fitting out. I don't really want to pull the intake back off but might have to. I think an easy out would bottom out in the intake before it did any good. Any suggestions?
Most auto part stores carry a tool made by Lisle that is splined and you pound the tool into the left over piece of the fitting and then can turn the piece out. I own one and it works very well.
