This is a picture of my stock, front, leaf spring bushing for my 2nd Gen. 2500 miles, 350hp. The round ID turned into an oval. Tends to cause tracking trouble with high throttle. In went the polys with a metal busing shaft for the front leaf. Got to be careful when updating the HP in these cars.

Picture link has been updated in original post. I have upgraded to 3 leaf rear springs and an Auburn Posi. The 66 did well with 350 HP and a 700R4. This is the max HP GM put in the cars. 400+ HP I suggest major updates for the rear.
