hey guys i was looking at the new camaro my wifes lease is up next year.
so she really likes the camaro.

but the specs read that the V6 has 304hp

so if one was to buy an new 350 turn key gm crate engine.that new 6 would kick your ***???

most people with stock v8 are pushing about that.

the new v8 on the camaro is 426hp

but i was just thinking 304 hp v6 might make our small chevy II novas fly with great gas milage.

but nothing beats the sound of a V8

Yes, the V6 is 300 hp but the new Camaro is also close to 4000 pounds. Most 3rd-4th gen Novas are about 600 pounds lighter while most 1st-2nd gen Novas are 1000-pounds lighter. I don't think the new V6 Camaro would "kick your ***".
