I did a search and never found what i was looking for so heres my question. Does the steering wheel paint need a flex agent? I didnt think it did but i was told you needed to add it:confused: And also my steering wheel is closer to the dash color but it has more of a shine ,is this right?

And did they 2 tone the steering wheels in novas like they did on early impalas? Because i was thinking of doing this to mine

If it is a hard plastic it needs no flex add.
If you can flex it with your finger or fingernail then add flex.
I don't remember the degree of gloss for each interior part, but the wheel should have more gloss than the dash top.
I talked to a wheel resto guy and he said to use basecoat/clearcoat and that your hands rubbing on the wheel (during use) would dull down some of the gloss and make it look right.
