Another dumb question. I cleaned my original spindles and steering arms and got them ready to go on the CBR control arms. Since they were rusty it appears they were not painted originally. I would really like to powder coat but that is two 170 mile round trips to get that done. Should I prime and paint them before installation or just leave them bare?

Bare, they will continue to rust & look bad, I vote for prime & paint or use something like POR15 on them. JMHO

Did mine in Krylon "PRO", Stainless Steel color. Number KO5922000. Not shiney and pretty durable. No rust thru.

I painted mine with cast iron color engine paint. I'm not sure yet how it is going to hold up to the elements.

I also use cast iron paint on master cylinders and parts I want to keep looking OE.This stuff has worked well for me but there are a number of brands available including VHT.
