I'm leaning towards a Lenco St 1200 for my new 66 SS pro street project. I was wondering what options there are for running a speedometer with one. I don't see any provision for a speedo drive. I e-mailed the Lenco tech line but haven't received a response yet.

Anyone know anybody who is running a Lenco on the street with a speedometer?

I'll be watching this thread, also wanting to run the ST1200 once I get the cash$$$ saved up. I never considered the speedometer issue. A GPS would work or maybe a G-tech?

Yeah I've been talking to the folks at Lenco but forgot to ask them about the speedo. I was also looking at Jericho and Liberty but am leaning towards the ST1200.

I remember the Jeffco from back in the 1990s when he first came out with his streetable Lenco-style trans. That's when I first started wanting one.

Well Baddbob, Lenco finally got back to me and there is a company that makes both mechanical and electronic take-off units so you can use a speedometer with a Lenco. It's called Speed-O-Meter Solutions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
