Anyone else have this problem? The needle on my speedometer tends to bounce between 5 or 7 miles around the actual speed at times. Usually happens when I'm going rather fast upwards of 50mph not normally just cruising any lower.
Sounds like the cable may need to be re-lubed. Sometimes the cable lube will dry causing the cable to skip (stick inside the case) which causes the speedo to bounce around. If the cable rotates freely then the actual speedo head may be faulty.
