I have a 77 Skylark 350 trans w/ 350 eng. I can not find a tag on the rear end to get a ratio but it feels like 350 to 373 but not any lower than that. I'm the second owner. The first was a aunt that bought it new so its stock.
The problem I'm having is the speedo runs slower than the actual speed by about 20 mph. Changed the tail shaft housing from the old style with the big adapter to the one with the smaller bullet type. Also changed the trans 2x so I think I need to start from scratch on this to get the speedo to read correctly. Any help please?

I called these guys last year and gave them my specs as far as trans type tire height and rear gear and for $30.00 they got me the drive and driven gear and once installed it was right on according to my GPS :)
