Looking for syggestions on a set of spark plug wires for my first gen. I want to route them under the headers and come up behind the dist. Is there a set of wires that you can make the correct length? Is there a special tools to crimp the end on with? I know some have routed there wires the same, how did you secure them? Thanks in advance.

hi well if you want to make your wires to go thru the back you can buy taylor or accel wires they come in the box very long .you can cut them at any length you want and they even come with the crimping plates so you can do it your self .and to hold them they also come with hold down. check mine how i have them:http://s299.photobucket.com/albums/mm319/elchupes/?action=view&current=pics029.jpg

Here is a link to Delphi Motorsports wires, these are the best wires money can buy. I'm not positive about how to aquire them but this site may help out there is a contact name.

We used to make them here in Warren Ohio. I knew the guy making them I mean to tell you they are absolutely the best. A number of the Nascar teams use them and nothing else. The heat shield that they use will not burn, you can lay them on a header and it will look like new. The wire that they use is not a wire that you will find from Moroso etc.etc. it is a trade secret.

Well work looking into and they look cool too. They say Delphi Motorsports on them in gold lettering on black wire.

I got myself a set of Taylor Spiro Pro wires and am very happy with them. As with other sets of wires, they come with the tool for crimping the ends on.
