One of my pet peeves with restos, is not seeing the correct interior in the correct model (Strato pattern in a standard interior car). I found the OEM material and had my seats stitched up what do you think? The seat I used was 70 pattern, but the seat frame and headrests were dated 69, must have been some left overs.

SMS auto fabrics, out of Portland Or. They were great to deal with, they sent a sample first, for me to verify before ordering. I wasn't sure how much I would need or which way the pattern was, but they took the time to explain it to me and suggested how much I would need. I actually got lucky, because I gat the end of a roll and they gave me more then I needed, so I have enough to do a repair should I ever need to.

The plain jane no options except the BB, is very cool to me as well. It would have be sweet to have back in the day with the bench & 307 badges instead of 396 ones on it!:devil:

I too ordered some material from SMS for my 72.Girl i talked to said about 3 1/2 yards would cover the front bench seat and that includes the back part of the seat.I'm starting to get fine cracks on the bottom of the back part of the seat, which once it cracks all the way thru then i will get it repaired.

I think I needed 2 half yards, because it's only the top and back rest part, that use the pattern, the rest, is basic vinyl, but the prices are reasonable and it looks correct instead of the strato pattern.

So, what would that bright red object in your first picture be???????
The gentlemen redoing my seat just bought it, and sadly enough the guy he got it from, has his days numbered to cancer, so he's selling everything off. He did say the owner who also built it, drove the wheels off it the past 2 years. It's a glass body 32 2 door roadster with a 350 SB, if I remember correctly. It is a sharp looking car.
