We finally got the 62 on the road, but the brake pedal seems soft, tillthe las inch of travel then it is firm. The car still stops great just take a whole lot of pedal travel. I have replaced all the line hoses and upgraded to disc brakes. The master cylinder is out of a 67 Nova with disc brake (manual). I have bled and bled ( vacuum and by the pedal) I have gotten all the air out and still nothing. last night after I got home from work I took the cove off the master cylinder and had the wife step on the brakes until it hit the firm spot and there is pressure ( seen the "bubbles" no not air). I'm ata loss

What front disc brakes are you using?

double check the self adjusters on the rear shoes.

If the shoes are too far from the drum, it will take pedal movement to seat them.

69 Camaro rotors and calipers on stock 67 Nova disc spindles

OK I went and one EXTREMELY small weep, so I replaced the section of hard line, so I rerouted the line so I can run sub frame connectors easier. Bled and bled again, pedal is better but not perfect. I will check the shoes Thursday afternoon.
