seems like all small things can and will make a diff, congrats and good luck racing.
A couple of weeks ago I took off the mufflers and ran a TNT the car ran 11.50 before someone oiled the track down and I gave up.
My car doesn't really leave that hard. I made about 80 runs with the car after getting it back together and the best time I managed was 11.50 with a 1.68 60. I've had a few 60s in the 1.63 range but not that many. I think removing the mufflers helped also. I did spray 100 shot one TnT and had 60s of 1.55 to 1.58. I was really glad to see those 1.58 numbers without spray.I'd be anxious to see if you set that shock back to whatever it was set at and see if the car slows back down again. I don't see how changing a single shock setting will get you from high 1.6's to high 1.5's. I don't doubt you at all I just think there may have been some other factors going on along with the shock. Congrats either way. I'm going in 2 weeks to try for 40's myself.
