Does anyone have a tutorial or pictures on exactly where to cut the legs for the longer Chevelle or aftermarket bucket seat tracks for a 66/67? I’ve read the old threads and can’t quite tell where people are cutting them. If you happen to have pictures or can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I won’t be doing the welding myself, but want to tell the guy exactly what to do so that they end up mounting to the floor with no issues. Or, if you’ve done this yourself and wouldnt mind getting paid a few bucks to do another set, let me know. Thanks!

They are 14 1/2 from center of holes if that helps any. Don't know how long the

Chevelle tracks are. What year tracks? And what year are the seats they are

going on? I can measure my tracks tomorrow on a 67 SS seat from O.A.L. to

the center to center to be sure they are the right size you need.

I cut my factory one down about 1/2-3/4" on my last build. Straight cut and re-weld, worked great! Sorry no pics.
