I have a turbo 350 trans with a 2200 stall converter bolted to a 355 with a 3:08 gear. Is there any way to delay the shift from 2nd to 3rd? I have adjusted the modulator screw and it does change the shift points from 1st to 2nd, but 2nd to 3rd has no change, it happens about 3 seconds after first shift. This happens during normal driving. There is a little bit more of a gap when the transmission is cooler.
Thanks for any help.
I have a '70 with a 350 SB, TH350 tranny, and a B&M Megashifter. At what RPMs should it be shifting from 1st to 2nd, and then from 2nd to 3rd? My car's been running for ~2 weeks after working on it for a year. I want to see if its shifting at the right points. Thanks.
i have a TH350 that shifts from 2nd to 3rd really fast, like at 2500 when at WOT. i heard that there is a screw in the vacuum port on the tranny that adjusts the shift point. is this true? would i turn the screw in or out to make it shift later. any info would help my understanding and be...
