Hey whats up, been reading this site for a while and decided to share my project with you guys. I know a few people on the site. Well this is my 1969 SS 396-375 Nova. Yea it's a real 375 car, got most of the documentation. But I dont really care. When I bought the car it did not have the correct motor or trans..that was 1988. It did have 14,740 ACTUAL miles. But in the early 70's they absloutely HACKED TO DEATH the wheel wells. I didnt realize just how bad till it was at the chassis shop(see pics)22 years later:eek: I think we pulled 15 lbs of bondo out of each side!!! I raced the car @ Island from about 88-95 then brought her out to Az w/ me. I lived out there for a few years and when I returned I left her there cause I know she would be safe from rust. About 1.5 years ago I had her shipped back and started this total RESTO/MOD project. When I started this was gonna be just a lil mini tub and move the springs inboard correctly and a upgeade on the cage....well 15k later ...LOL!!! The car is now at NOVACA1NS shop out on the island...I cant wait for it to come back, that place does AMAZING work!! The color is gonna be McClaren AMG Bright argent silver metallic.
If your wondering why I didnt go stock with the car..very simple...it was bought and raced since it was new.....it'was registed in 70 only till I got it 18 years later. to do anything but race her track/street would be a crime...beside some people will pay a CARZY amount of money for this stuff ie. I sold the 375 hp gage cluster w/ 6k tach for 1800 on ebay!:D Hope ya enjoy the pics !!!!! Sorry in advance I am clueless on shrinking the pics.

the Nova circa 1990
