Hi All,

Just reupholstered my seat, but now where does the long seat track spring attach to the bucket track? Have it just taped up to the bottom for a visual.

Can anyone look to see on their original Nova seat? Thinking the long part goes to the hole that the first arrow points to...then maybe the other side goes to either A or B? or somewhere else?

Also, though physically/functionally the same as Nova these were actually '63 Le Mans seats that came with 4-ply (hard black paper-ish) donuts between the tracks and the base (second photo). Any clue of their purpose and name? Even the Pontiac vendor at Carlisle didn't have a name and said they were not reproduced. Yes, it's non-Nova, but thought the elder statesmen here may have a clue.

Thanks for any info!

Hopefully someone can sneak a look at their slider on a first gen bucket seat..? Trying to put the seat in during the next day or two. Mod, should this go in a Originality?

Hey Rusty,
Took a look tonight at my seats. The long tail of the spring goes in the hole in the mounting leg shown by your arrow. The short end goes into slot B on your picture.
