Does anyone know what alternator bracket to use with a short water pump? I have a stock front end and it seems like with the short water pump the standard cast manifold bracket interfears.
At first I ran the stock short water pump with single groove pulleys and the alternator on the drivers side with the bracket off the ram horn manifold. It worked it would throw belts over 6k RPM. I switched to a low mount alternator bracket. Worked excellent.
Thanks for the info guys. I have the ram manifold with the bolt holes, but I can't seem to put my hands on the right brackets to make it work and not hit the spring tower. I had previously tried the Billet lower mount bracket, but it hit the cross member. The one suggested by JRouche seems like it pulls it closer to the block.
