I just got my 1970 Nova mini-tubbed. Moved the springs in the rear using a slider, tubs, notched the frame a little, shocks relocated, got a narrowed 9" diff, and got 15 X 10 wheels...
What is the biggest slick and street tires size I can use?

I'm running 15x10 with ET Streets 325/50 on my tubbed 65.Tires hook great when aired down for the track and look all business on the street but don't last long if you like puttin' yer foot in it.Pretty sure my spool doesn't help the wear issue either.

Thank you for your answer tree man!
Do you think a 29" x 12" on 15 slick will fit on my car?

Shouldn't be a problem. The 325/50 has specs listed at 13.10 wide and 11.6 tread width which is very close to your slick.Biggest difference is height with the ET's at 28" but you should have ample room for that in your wheelhouse.Easy to verify with a little measuring since you already have the wheels and tubs are in.
