I have rust forming around the rubber seal on the m/cyl and it's wet around the outside? Any suggestions? This is a CPP Power Disc system.

the gasket is shot or pinched, tore.... etc.... dot3 fluid adsorbs water ... so it will rust the iron housing when it leaks.......

Brake fluid should changed approximately once a year due to moisture accumulation (depending on the type of fluid you use). We have a couple Benz and it says in the maint manual to change it yearly. The non-dealer mechanic I use verified it's true. For years I never changed fluid in my cars but the rust can ruin brake calipers, master cylinders etc.
