Anyone have pics of how these mount to the roof? i know they use a well nut but not sure how you use one.

pics pics and more pics would be great..

Also where can you get the seals that go under the long strips that mount on the roof and how do they mount?

Check wagon roof rack on the 2nd page. There is a picture of a well nut. I've tried several times to get a picture of the original mounting hardware and this is as close as I've come. I think it will work fine but I plan to put a 1/2" washer on the underside of the roof to help keep it secure. I think the sheet metal would cut into the rubber over time and fail. Good luck

does this help you at all?

I was thinking of using a nut-sert instead of a well nut. I know I will have to seal it from water leaking but I think it will be stronger.
So do the center strips just lay on the roof?
I figured KDee would be all over this by now, but...

We invested in stock with the company so we could build my wagon.:D

Mine do. There are no holes to fasten it down. At the four corner mounts there is an adjusting screw to adjust the width of the strips. If they are too loose on the roof of the car then turning the screws will take the looseness away. If you can't get the mounts to line up then make the strips looser, attach the mounts and then readjust using the adjuster screws. If you are mounting the rack for the first time and have to make holes in the roof then make sure the adjusters are backed off somewhat so you have room to adjust as needed.
