I'm curious to see if anybody is running a a Rick's tank on a 67 or similar Nova with a in tank pump? My problem is not pump noise related but a thumping type noise when going over rough surfaces... I'm not exactly sure if it's the tank at all because the car sat apart in the garage for a long while and I don't remember if it made it before the tank install or not. I figure its the tank flexing when the rear goes over a rough surface. Any thoughts or people with a similar issues???

The tank isn't going to flex. Are your support straps tight? Most likely the noise is generated by the exhuast system.

My Rick's Tank certainly doesn't make any noise.

Yeah I was thinking that originally but my exhaust seems tight and placed pretty well on the car it just doesn't sound like the exhaust hitting thats why I was thinking the fuel tank... Maybe ill get it up to an exhaust shop and get a professional opinion. Thanks
