Reviews on Summit Intakes for Vortec heads?

Summit has their Stage 1 and Stage 3 intakes for use with Vortec heads on sale right now, and I'm very inclined to go ahead and grab one while the sale is on. I'm tending to want to go ahead and get the Stage 3 for an extra $54, since it's the air gap design. Anyone here have one of either type? Comments appreciated!
