I say around the South Carolina area(charleston to be exact) because I'm willing to drive to get good work done, be it Georgia, North Carolina, ect. My dad gave me an old 350 that I found sitting out at his farm. He said he pulled it out of a late 70's van. It's a 4 bolt main 2piece seal thats never been bored. He kept the block oiled because he figured one day he was going to use it for something. The cylinders look awesome. I'm thinking about doing a 383 stroker build with it and swapping it with my 327 that's in the car right now,(I took the spark plugs out for the first time since i bought it and they had oil all over them). So I figured now is as good a time as any.

Any suggestions?

I have used both Simons Balancing and Machine and Fisk Automotive Machine Shop in the past with out any problems. Its been a good number of years so cant say what they currently are charging but at the time they were the ones everyone was recommending. YMMV, good luck with your hunt.

What you going to do with your old 327?
