[bad 62 nova]

The hood hinges in my 62 nova are going BAD. they were new seven years ago. I understand they don't make aftermarket HINGES FOR THE 62. BUT i understand you can install 63 and up aftermarket hinges with some modification. HAS anyone done this? What do i need to do. Any photo's ? thanks Howard

Hopefully others will chime in.
62 bolt holes are a one year only where they bolt to the inner fenders so you will have to drill one new hole on each inner fender. I think there is also a notch on the inner gender that may need modification.

I have used this guy to repair my nova hinges he great call him i would trust him since yours are a special 1 year part.
