I need help removing trim on my 67....

Can you guys tell me the best way to remove the lower door mouldings on my 1967 ss? I wasn't sure if I need to remove the door panels. The other question I have is my mirror bracket has some pits on it and the mirror is dated with the glass is tarnished. I am going to replace the review mirror but should I send the bracket off to get refinished or just by a repro? thanks

The 69's have speed nuts at either end of the molding and then slide forward or back I can't remember. Hope that might help you. I don't think the panels need to come of, but I could be wrong.
