Whats the best way to remove the front grill.??..Is there another way besides drilling out the rivots????

You could use a sawsall. Not the prefered method, but very effective. Other than that you're stuck drilling out rivets.

You could unbolt the brackets...

I'm not sure about the '66, but on the '65 you unbolt the brackets and remove the grille and brackets as a unit.

Yup, they riveted the grill to the bumper filler panel in 67 also. The only way to separate them is to drill out the rivets.

If you take out the bumper filler at the same time you can get it and the grill out as a unit without too much hassle and leave the rivets in place.

Seven bolts....Took my wood chisel and the rivots just about fell out....Thanks guys.........Grill came off very easy...
