I need to know the measurments on a 2nd gen Nova rear.

I'm putting a 12 bolt in my daughters 75 T/A, i have a 70 Camaro 12 bolt rear which i know is the same as the 75 T/A, but i would like to shorten it a 1/2 inch-3/4 inch on each side.. So i was wondering what the size was on the 2nd gen,, I know i have to move the perches but that's no problem..
I also have a Dana 60 out of a 71 Camaro, but she dosen't want the weight..

Thanks..

Thanks Mike,,
That's exactly what i was looking for...
The rear is 1 inch shorter that the one we have.. That should work fine..

And i will have to get the #'s off the rear to see what it was out of.. It's suppose to be from a 70/71 SS or Z-28.. I forget what i was told when i got it.. The guy was the original owner of the car since new ( still has it) and pulled it out in the late 70's and put it into storage because the gears were to big..

And the Dana 60, i think is from a 70's Challenger or Cuda,, which might of been a Hemi car to have that in it.. That one would be worth a good buck..
I'll have to check it out before i cut that one up for my 64 Nova..

I think also the guys with tri 5"s are using them...they fit well.

Yep, they are a perfet fir for them.. I sold 2 -- 12 bolt within the last year or so, both for 55 Chevys.. I knew they were around an inch shorter ..
But at the time i wasn't thinking of fitting a bigger tire under my daughters car.

Never fails, had it,, sold it.. Now i need it..
