im running camaro 5 leaf springs on my 72 nova.i had to add 1/4 spacer for the rubber mounts to fit between the spring and lower shock plate.has anyone ever ran the rear springs with out the rubber mounts

Do you have multileaf or single leaf mounts on your axle?

it had 4 leaf multi leaf and i went to a 5 leaf
