well i got all the new rear brakes on. went to put on a drum and no go. checked adjuster and it was all the way in. so i looked at the old shoes and noticed at the top were it contacts the mount it is shorter so it would go in further compared to the new ones that stick out more. anyone run into this before.

are you sure you got the rear shoes?

Did you mix up the leading shoe and the trailing shoe? This was just discussed the other day--there are 2 different shoes.

Easiest way to remember them is big shoe to the back "B to B".:yes:
