Which way to mount will have no effect on how stiff they will be. More angle will be softer in any direction. The inboard angle would slow the roll action of the car where angle to the front or rear would slow rearend twist as it was explained to me but I'm no expert. The 3rd gen Novas with staggered shocks front and rear but basicaly stright should be stiff and slow rearend twist. That is how I understand it anyway. RM
