Hello,

I am upgrading to rear disc brakes on my 1978. I have been looking at F-body brakes (even though they vary through the years, it sounds like 1988-2002 will work), as a lot of people have adapted these to 10 bolts on a variety of GM cars. However, the F-body's of these years have the calipers mounted symmetrically (i.e. either for or aft of the axle).

So my question is: Will these clear the staggered shocks, and if not, is there any reasonable way to get these to work? (w/o relocating the shocks).

Thanks!

Ryan

Re:

Yes I suppose I could if I could get my hands on 2 complete sides, which would be difficult to find though. I'm not too worried about the calipers since they are easy to find and not too expensive, but the mounting brackets are the harder part to come across.
