I've got a '63 Chevy II and would like to find a source for some rattle can interior paint for the dash and door pilars. The interior is still original - Aqua. Trim code is 3-750 and paint is 936-14.

I had ordered some from Paddock parts, but they have an issue with the manufacturer.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

What Tom said would be your best bet. When I worked in a paint store we would fill spray cans, and they were not cheap. We also would not put metallics in a spray bomb, I think the reason for that was because of color maching problems.

What a great idea. Never knew that was available. Im assuming they can do a 2k paint also, the pot life is pretty long on some of the stuff. Oh, and short on some. I think the 2k primer I used had a pot life of like 4 hours, and it was ISO paint, a lil nasty if you hear some of the stories. JR

I've done it. Take your glove box door off and take it down for an exact match. You may be able do it with your ash tray, but my paint store wannted a large are to match to, so the glove box door worked best. At least my local store (Hawley's in Santa Rosa) doesn't have an issue with metallics, dunno about other's though.
