what is a good way to raise my 63 four - door up some in the rear? it is all factory inline six.its so low that the previous owner dragged the fuel tank.like i said completely original.why is it down so far in the rear and up in the front?

Can you post a pick. If its all stock the shocks and leafs might be wore out. Do you want it stock hieght or even higher?

I would guess that the arcs in the springs are worn out. If you lived closer I would give my old ones.

Install new springs. The old ones are shot.

Use the springs from a wagon. They are a bolt-in for the hdtps and sedans but are quite a bit thicker and restore ride height.

I've been using

Air shocks for years. They solved the problems for me with a modicum of dollars and time. All three of my drivers have them with a combined 150, 000 plus miles total!
