Which radiator flush product do you guys recommend? I had to top off the coolant and found these floating things in it. I thought it would be a good time to flush the whole system. How do you guys recommend to do it? Drain all coolant, fill up with flush and water, run engine for awhile, drain all fluid and fill back up with water. Run engine again and drain water. Finally fill back up with coolant? Thanks in advance

I bought some of this stuff to clean the oil and combustion gas residue out of my cooling system after a head sealing issue a while back but haven't tried it yet.Had good reviews and this is the only product I found that specifically addresses oil in the system as well as all the other garbage in there.Instructions have lots of warnings so I think it's pretty potent.I don't want to run it through until I have a new heater core on hand in case the cleaning loosens some scale and causes it to leak. All of the Irontite products look popular in the industrial and diesel sectors, not so much in auto.

I have used CLR (calcium, lime, rust) with very good results. It made the old brass/copper radiator I use to run very clean and shiny inside. Make sure you rinse the system 2-3 times with fresh water after you flush with clr though.
