Is there a "correct" position for the window crank handles when the window is rolled all the way up (front and back)? 62 convertible if that matters. I have all mine off and ready to reinstall so I thought I'd ask first. I'm thinking 6 o'clock but there may not even be a correct way. I wonder how they came from the factory.

Not sure if the year makes a difference but in my 65 the passenger side window cranks when fully closed are in the 9:00 position. the Drivers side are in the 3:00 position but when I let go of the handle it drops. Maybe its wear. the drivers side back door is at 3:00 so I assume that is the correct position.

Good question. I think that level with the door trim line and forward is the best position. Knee knocking problems if it's low, and it just looks more tidy. I can't find the correct position in the assembly manual.

I think I like the 9 o'clock in the front and 3 o'clock in he rear. That makes most sense.

Thanks
