I have a 73 hatch with a 10 bolt non posi unit. I have the chance to pick up a complete 10 bolt rear from an 82 camaro. I have a leaf spring set up and the camaro is a coil spring. Will the guts interchange? Will anything?
Thanks, Dann

Your 73 most likely has a 8.5 10 bolt, and the 82 Camaro probably has a 7.5 10 bolt. There probably isn't much that will interchange. If the Camaro rear has discs, it might still be worth picking it up, if you want rear discs!;)

Ok, the scoop is that we are converting from auto to stick. Picked up a Saginaw 4 speed for $250. The guy has rear end, drive shaft, bell housing and clutch complete and will let it all go for $500. He wants to get it out of his garage. I would like to keep car as original as possible and the thought of disc brakes in the rear sounds good. Don't know if it came as an option. So what will fit and should I get the whole package?
Thanks for any input
