Toms nova has Church boys suspension and he put 69 camaro spindles and rotors on it off another nova. Seems that the wheel and tires are sitting alot further out then the original setup..we are confused
Dennis

Camaro spindles should not fit correctly, lower ball joing is a larger diameter on Camaros and Chevelles.I would not drive it if this is the case. You say he added Camaro discs?? If it was drums before you converted to Camaro discs the wheels are @ 5/8 farther out on each side.Adjustments can be made by changing wheel back spacing or swapping to a "zero" offset type front brake setup.Sweet car, tubbed or mini tubbed?

The spindles mount correctly so were not sure what they are from then. They are 69 Camaro rotors and calipers for sure. Never noticed that the wheels sat out further until he put the fenders on. It was a drum brake 6 Cyl car originally. It's mini tubbed... If you look under 1&2 gen novas thead Tommy's 66 build I posted pics there up til now

ECI and CPP make a "zero" offset front disc set up,this does not move the wheels from the drum location.

He says the spindles fit the ball joints properly so we are assuming they are correct.

So many questions raised now.. Once it's home next week from getting wired this will all have to be inspected. He did get rid of all the stock spindles but he doesn't remember there being an issue with the ball joints and they were on a different nova for quite awhile. Sad part is the extra cost now to get the offset correct. Wheels look terrible so that's not an option so it's between all the kits or wilwoods like the rear. It just wasn't in his budget to redo the front brakes.

Give Chuck a call, he has some options for brakes that won't "break" the bank......at least you know you'll get a straight answer, and not what someone wants to sell you.....
