Installed a new fuel tank and fuel sender that guitarwanbee gave me. I also ran a new a 3/8 alum fuel line all one piece wile I was under there.

Looks good. I installed my new tank earlier this week. Where did you buy your's at? I purchased mine through ground up. Bought the cheaper "import" one along with a new sending unit. Everything went great, fuel gauge works now. I had alot more gas in my old tank than I thought, had fun wrestling it down.

guitarwanbee gave it to me. It was brand new, he installed a sump tank he had. Now I know how much gas I have, no more guessing. Mine use to read empty on a half tank.

I installed a new 18 gallon tank from classic, w/ a new sending unit. now my guage reads 1/2 tank when full. I think I got a bad unit.

I think mine is reading correct. It was empty and I put 5 gal in and it now reads about 1/4 tank. So, that's about right, I'm happy.
