I have been off for quite a while and I thought I would show you all why.
I promised my son the Nova would be ready for his senior prom
I made it!
Just a little history:
This is a 73 custom that we bought 2 1/2 years ago with now drive train to build together and it would be his.
Here is what we started with

Not real pretty but sound.
Stripped down

The upper dash was all rusted out so I replaced that and then smoothed out the firewall

Totaly rebuilt the front and rear suspensions including powder coating the frame, inner skirts and core suport. Installed an energy suspension bushing kit, new brake rotors etc.

And that is where it sat till last fall while we bult up an engine for it.

I traded for a tired 383 stroker motor with a fresh m21 muncie. We rebuilt the motor and installed it last fall. Then hunting season started and we didn't touch the car again till January of this year.

Once i reallized that prom was in March I kinda started to panic and got my *** in gear.

I was putting the wipers on as he was waiting with his tux on saying he was going to be late. whew!
