Procar vs TMI seats

TMI are a higher level of quality (and price!) than ProCar. They're also larger overall and tend to have a more modern-looking design, while ProCar has options that look more period appropriate. Check them both out in person and sit in them before buying. Another option to consider is Distinctive Industries which use the ProCar frames, but offer different upholstery options which are a little more detailed and interesting than what ProCar offers, but also more expensive. I strongly considered their Touring II option with houndstooth, but decided the slight improvement wasn't worth the added cost over the houndstooth option ProCar offers.

I suspect you've seen the short video I made on my ProCar seats, but if not you can find that here along with a thread on how I lowered the seat brackets . I think they are a good value - it's up to you if you want to pay more to get more with the TMI.

Whatever seats you choose, you might ask the manufacturer if they make a rear seat cover to match. ProCar offers this if you call and special order. I recovered my back seat myself using their cover. Only complaint I have is that it arrived with a spring pattern indented in some areas of the vinyl, but it seems to be relaxing with time. I haven't tried a steamer on it yet, but that may fix it.

Do you think if I go with a more stock style like the Pro 90 that I will end up wishing I had the bolstering that the Rallys have?
That depends on how you use your car. For street driving the Pro90s will likely be more comfortable and easier to get in and out of. If you're going to do autocross or more spirited cornering, you'll probably appreciate the bolstering like I do (makes a big difference when you're pulling a lateral g). It may also depend on how big you are. I have a 38in waist. Anything bigger and the bolstering on the rally may start feeling tight widthwise. They do have a wide version, although I'm not sure how well it would fit in the car
