Hello everyone. Nice to be back on the site. Have not been here for a while. Did my car over about 10 years ago boy does time fly. Just got a remanufactured power steering pump from Napa. It came with a couple of O rings though I never recall using these in the past. Current setup , hose end, has beveled end which looks like it will seat nicely into pump. Not sure the o rings are needed. Any thoughts? I’m going to try to remember how to post a pic now haha ! Thanks. Jay

Some newer model cars have an o-ring at the end of the hose.

Turns out did not need the O ring. Flared nuts do the job. Getting older now, forgetting some details. Never recall any O rings on power steering lines on the 15 or so pumps I have done over the years. Thanks
