Hey all, I purchased a power steering kit from CPP as well as an ididit column and am going to start removing the original manual box and column this weekend. I'm looking for any suggestions or tips that would help with the install...??

Take a lot of pictures :yes: and remember that your gear box is one peace so you need to take the steering wheel off the column

Thanks. That brings up a whole other question... is it easy to get the steering wheel off without damaging it?

You can try just taking the center nut loose and pulling on the wheel. Leave the nut on so the wheel does not pop off. Other option is to rent a puller from your local auto shop. You may have to use a pulley puller. Take the horn button off and take a couple of pics to your local parts house. They should be able to set you up.
