I'm having some issues with my March Performance power steering pump. The pump itself is a GM unit and the reservoir is made by March. I bleed the system as per GM and get all the air out. Works fine, no noise.. If I raise the RPM to 1,000 or more and turn the steering wheel most times it airates the fluid and I need to bleed it again.

My next steep is to replace the pump but, I want to make sure I use the correct recommend per fluid per GM first and rule that out. Anyone know what the correct power steering fluid is for a GM pump??

Well, I fixed it.. Looks like it was not the fluid (which I did go and purchase GM fluid). I have the GM process of bleeding the power steering system. The step that purges the system is having it up on blocks and with the engine off, run the steering lock to lock slowly 40 times. Well, I not only had to go lock to lock 40 times, I had to do an additional 160 times! It seems to be good now. sigh...
