I'm switching from manual drums to power discs. The booster I have has four bolts to mount to the firewall not the stock three bolts, is this a problem?. This also came with a bracket that can be used and holds the booster off the firewall about 1.5". Should I just drill the two extra holes and mount directly to the firewall or should I use the bracket? Any extra advise would be a great. Thanks

snug to the firewall without the spacer would be my choice, assuming you still have clearance to the valve cover on the driver's side.the longer the bracket, the more deflection you're gonna potentially have during a panic stop,etc......

I'm doing the same swap, and it looks like I might have to move the brake proportioning valve. I'm really not sure how to tackle the positioning of the booster and master, but I'm worried that I may have to make new brake lines to reposition the stock Prop valve. I don't have any advice, but am also curious what others have done/would suggest.
