Any ideas on poor sometimes intermidtant spark ? Sometimes spark is there sometimes it's gone. When it is there it seems weak. The car will not fire now. Started for a few minutes yesterday though. I've got fouled plugs here and there. put new plugs in same thing. Also changed the ignition switch and lock. I've tryed two different coils as well, same issue. Distributor is MSD Pro Billet, with an MSD 6 A box. I've also checked the connection from the wire from the distributor to the box it's good connection. Any ideas ?? - Mark

1. Make sure you have 12 volts going to the distributor.
2. Clean/replace the rotor and distributor cap.
3. Ohm the plug wires and see if they are good.
4. Can you take the 6AL box out of the loop to eliminate it as the cause.

I can check all of that except removing the 6 A box. The distributor runs off the box. I was told by the MSD rep that either the box works or it dosent. Not sure how true that is . But that's what he told me.
