where do i find shims for my 62 with monoleafs and slapperbars.the monoleafs only have a center pin on the bottom.there is nothing to hold the shim.i need a shim with a bump on it to lock itself in the perch on the rear.where can i get these.

try lakewood or competition engeneering they may have something maybe try calvert racing also

Is the pin basically a bolt with a round end? Can you replace it with a bolt..maybe with an allen head? Mine used to locate with a bolt that I added, but it's been a long time, I don't remember exactly what I did.

Go to summit racings website and check there.....thats where i bought mine before....search axle shims ....comp engineering and summit both make them

my leaf spring has a little nub on the bottom not a bolt it is made on the spring,these are factory 62 springs nothing on the top to hold the shim that is why i need one with a nub to sit in my leaspring perch

calvert does not have them either.

I may have missed it but I use to use the Clavert pinion shims until I made some changes so I didn't need them, here is a link from Calverts site

anything having to do with leaf springs they have and can handle, also bowtie0069 is correct with regard to the location of the shim

It's tough, but you could drill the spring and add a locating bolt/pin. I've ruined many bits on leaf springs!
