Hey drm thanks for responding!
I have been looking everywhere for a picture with no luck.
What a great looking car.
Wheels look great too.
Any chance you remember the rear tire size? It looks close to the lip but still ok.
I think these are what I want to upgrade my original dog dish wheels.
One lucky guy in Toronto, that's for sure.
I put a set on my 73 in the 80’s, fit great from what I remember and definitely don’t remeber the tire size except 60’s I think. Always liked those rims.
I have a set of the above mentioned wheels and would like to know if anyone has them on a 2nd gen, 66/67 .Pictures and max tire size would be helpful.I have drum brakes on all 4 corners.:yes:
Just an fyi, The lips were cut on that car. About a 1/2 inch on each side, but I think the 235/60-15's would have fit with cutting the lips. They were cut to run a 29 1/2 x 9 inch rear slick, which also fit on the car with those wheels.
Thanks for all the info fellas.
I have been reading complaints that these wheels are heavy. Heavier than rally wheels. Not sure that matters on a 100% street car.
Found some complete needing a redo at a good price but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
