Well we made it back from Maryland International Raceway at 3 AM this morning after doing some testing over the weekend. Here's a few spy shots that were taken from up in the stands. Our best pass on all motor was a 9.88 @ 137 w/1.39 60' . Our last pass we made we put in the 200 pills in the plate and took out a some timing, the car hooked hard and managed 1.33 60' but took a hard right, I got out of it for a split second to get it going straight again and ended up we ran a 9.19 @ 152 w/1.33 60'. Got the car back to the trailer and discovered we had broken a heim joint on the drivers side ladder bar up front. Needless to say the car was sitting about 2" lower on the passenger side after that pass. Oh well we'll tear it apart and rebuild it and get out going again here soon. The last picture is the one where it broke the heim joint and if ya look you can see the car squating to the right.

Well none of our tracks open up for another month so I figured to break the cabin fever we'd head south seeing we'd never been to MIR before. Kinda glad we did, found out what we need to do to make it right and get done before our opening day up here. MIR is definitely a nice facility!

Great pics, what else is done to the car,

What are you guys running for motor,
It's a 23° headed 434" SBC, ProSystems 1150 Dominator, 13.5:1 CR.
It's minitubbed to hold a 29.5"/10.5" tire but we run a 29" x 10" Hoosier.
All steel except for the hood, full interior, 12 Bolt w/4.11's and ladder bars. It's Registered, Inspected and Insured. :D

The heim joint thing could have been WAY worse, good thing it wasnt. Suprised that a track in Maryland would be open so soon, Here in Ohio where the weather is just a little better than there, they dont even think about it until, early April. VERY NICE RIDE!

By the way, Thetpro1, both Edgewater and Tristate ran this past weekend. I went to Tristate on Saturday. It was 77 degrees, but there was a 10 to 20 mph headwind all day.

No wait, that wnet into a rail, didn't it?
Dan we sold the motor and the dragster almost 2 years ago,
bought this other Nova an started working on it, we built a 434" for it stuck it in there.

wow, real nice! are you still running the same wheel/tire combo? or did you change it? thanks
We're running a 29"x10" Hoosier on an 8" wheel now.
