I have a small hole in one of my fairly new mt front runners (no tubes). It must of been a nail of some sort. Tried applying a patch from the inside, however the patch didnt want to stick to the inside material/surface. Anything special I need to do this ? Or is buying a set of tubes my only option?

I do not plug or patch front race tires. Going to fast if that $5.00 patch breaks it going to cost a whole bunch more:yes:

Yah and it wouldnt hold, didnt know if there was something i was missing.

The patches won't work on slicks or whatever they make the front runners out of. The shop I use to work at would tell customers the only fix was tubes.

I'm thinking this is a safety issue. How much is your life worth? Spring for a new tire... JMO
